Okay, well my computer is filled with worms and virus. I have alpha anti virus, and its blocking most of the websites i go o (and yeah, i know its fake) Okay well i looked at my local yellow pages, &i found this thing called "Geeks ON Site" So i want to know, if i call them do they help me fix the problem on the phone, by them telling me what to do, or do they have to come to my house and fix it, and if they do come to my house, do i have to pay them? And if i do how much?

I have tried downloads, on a variety of computers, which run everything from Windows 95, right up through XP. On every computer that I have ever tried, I have tried to stay on "safe" sites, such as Download.com, to download operations programs, screensavers, and so on (Download.com is just an example, of dozens of so-called web-sites I have tried). Wouldn't you know it, though. At evewry single site, that I can mention, I have brought back viruses, worms, and "tons" of spy-ware. And this is from the "clean", "safe", web-sites. I know that the best hackers can penetrate any connection, including D.S.L., dial-up, and any other connection, to inject bad codes into home computers. How can internet users "safely" use the internet, without having to worry about hackers, and corporations, "injecting" garbage into our computers? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Connection problems using mcafee?

So I was surfing the internet like I usually do and suddenly Google Chrome shuts down. Now this program called "Antivirus Live" appears to have installed itself. Now as a limited user on this computer, I have no idea this program got in since I can't download anything anyway. I have gotten its counterpart, Antivirus 2008 before and successfully removed it as a limited user but this one is proving to be a challenge. And I do have security, Mcafee, but it falls short when removing malware. Would any of you happen to know how to get rid of this foul program using a limiter user account?

My Computer keeps freezing!?

So I got a new computer in the middle of October, it is a Toshiba Satellite A500/040, came with Windows vista Home premium. I got a Windows 7 upgrade disc that is only for my computer. I have upgraded my Laptop to windows 7 and am now having troubles... I think I picked up a few viruses and I am wanting to re-install windows to get my laptop back to normal. The only problem is I am not entirely sure if I can re-use the Upgrade disc. Does anyone know if I can? And if not, what I can do? Thanks in advance for any help and have a great New Year

My laptop cursor freezes?

I have a virus that is not allowing me to view hidden files or folders. It won't either allow me to run regedit or any programs to fix that. But I can access most of my files for backup. I just want to somehow select my hidden files, and copy them to a hard drive for backup, but it won't let me unless I am able to view them. Is there any possible way around this, just to let me select them?

When I use Line Tool it blurs the line out

Hi

I'm new to his forum, but I hope to learn a thing our two here

I've been working with photoshop for some years now, but I've never taken any education in graphics. So maybe my question is a rather rookie question...

The problem is that when I use the Line Tool with 1 px it's not as sharp as if i choose a 1 px border on a box. There is an example here :

To me it is quite obvious that the vertical line is not one pixel were the horizontal line is.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

fix image distortion

Hi

This image is part of a video.

As you can see, in the bottom half of the frame, several blocks are shifted. I asked in a video forum if there is a way to correct these distortions but apparently no software can fix this problem. I was advised to correct the video image by image but it's a very hard work as there are 1500 image per minute!

I tried to manually edit an image:

I would like to know if there is a way to automatically fix this problem for an image in photoshop. Then I could write a script to apply the correction on all the images of the video...

I would just use the lasso select the person copy and open a new document (transparent background) document size "clipboard" once you have the document opened paste the man onto it "save as PNG……..Done

I NEED HELP!!! Here are the directions to my assignment...any help would be appreciated...
Prompt user with a dialog box asking how many questions they would like on there multiplication quiz, then computer must generate the amount of questions with random multiplication of 0-12...
